Chris Wagoner Memorial Leadership GrantIn his over 30-year career at the Winpisinger Center, Brother Chris Wagoner exemplified what it means to be a member, leader, and mentor in our Union. It was Brother Chris’ lifelong mission to create a labor movement free of racism, classism, elitism, and sexism. Brother Chris believed that achieving these lofty goals was entirely possible through empowerment through education and Brother Chris believed that expanding opportunities for Leadership training at the Winpisinger Center was critical to our future growth as a Union IAM General Secretary-Treasurer Cervantes Honored with the ‘Voice of Labor’ Award by LCLAAIAM General Secretary-Treasurer Dora Cervantes has been distinguished with the prestigious “Voice of Labor” Award from the Labor Council for Latin American Advancement’s (LCLAA) Los Angeles Chapter.
